There were a lot of Emerging technologies presented at Siggraph 2009, one of them is Touchable Holography.
The University of Tokyo has recently announced that they have created the world’s first touchable hologram.
University of Tokyo researchers have developed a display, which makes it possible to even touch those images that appear to float in space in front of them.
